Who is responsible

Vikas Bendha runs vikasbendha.com and decides how the personal data on this page is used. Write to connect@vikasbendha.com about anything here, including requests to see, correct or delete your data.

What is collected

When you book a call: your name, email address, and anything you choose to add (company, website, what to look at, notes), the time you picked and your time zone.

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, and the optional details in the form.

For security: a one-way scrambled form of your IP address (the original can’t be recovered from it) to stop abuse such as automated form spam.

When you browse: Google Analytics records which pages are visited and how the site is used (for example which buttons are clicked, whether a form is started or sent, how far a page is read), along with your approximate location, device and browser. It sets cookies (named _ga) that hold a random ID. It never receives your name, email address or anything you type into the forms, and the data isn’t used for advertising.

Why it is used

To arrange, hold and follow up on the call you booked, to reply to your enquiry, to keep the forms safe from abuse, and to see how the site is used so it can be improved. You are not added to a newsletter or mailing list.

Who processes it

Google: Google Calendar and Google Meet for the calendar invite and the video call, and Google Analytics to measure how the site is used.

Resend: sends the confirmation, reminder and reply emails.

Supabase, self-hosted on a private server: stores bookings and enquiries.

Each only receives what it needs for that job.

How long it is kept

Bookings and enquiries are deleted automatically 24 months after the call or enquiry, unless we go on to work together. Google Analytics keeps usage data for the period set in the Analytics account (between 2 and 14 months).

Your choices

You can reschedule or cancel a call from the link in your confirmation email, and ask for your data to be shown, corrected or deleted at any time by emailing connect@vikasbendha.com. To stop Google Analytics, block its cookies in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
